In our front yard was a tree that had a long vine dangling from it. My brother and I spent many days taking turns swinging from it "just like Tarzan." Til one day the vine knocked a dead branch loose high up in the tree and the branch fell on my poor brother's head, splitting his head open. I can still remember watching his collar turn red as the blood poured from his head. He was 8. I was 11.

Needless to say, that was the end of my tree swinging days. But what fun childhood memories!Marybeth Whalenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04138498344723215611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917245635820611026.post-37506414574094077092010-12-08T10:24:59.080-05:002010-12-08T10:24:59.080-05:00Great post !Great post !Renea Winchcesternoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917245635820611026.post-31614743928788945892010-12-06T15:51:08.976-05:002010-12-06T15:51:08.976-05:00Funny post!
