Beautiful post, Carolyn. Katrina was so horrible we had tropical storms all the way to northeast Mississippi, 300 miles inland. You put it so well when you said the one thing a storm cannot destroy is the human spirit.Peggy Webbnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917245635820611026.post-57924040978977656522010-10-17T21:35:15.273-04:002010-10-17T21:35:15.273-04:00Thanks for this wonderful post, Carolyn. That wasn't an act of nature, that was a manmade disaster. I heard that the Corp of Engineers wanted to build a levy along the entire Gulf Coast. Now maybe that's just a silly rumor, but if it's true--can you believe how idiotic that would be.Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12505306878128995740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917245635820611026.post-76497872276886821302010-10-17T12:11:08.301-04:002010-10-17T12:11:08.301-04:00While you can't put the blame on any one thing...While you can't put the blame on any one thing. One day maybe they'll get it right and the city won't float away anymore.NoraAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14820850644240626655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917245635820611026.post-84407918084196438842010-10-17T10:50:23.888-04:002010-10-17T10:50:23.888-04:00You're so right, Alex. You're so right, Alex.Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12505306878128995740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917245635820611026.post-57779388446555456022010-10-17T10:30:12.123-04:002010-10-17T10:30:12.123-04:00It will take years to remove the traces of the sto...It will take years to remove the traces of the storm, but awesome to hear the people have persevered.Alex J.
